I agree with "beachbreak1 1 2" The Deep Purple version of "Hush" is truly far SUPERIOR. This version almost reminds me of the deep Purple album being played at 45 rpm.

Nice Spooky Tooth-ish stuff with a Marriott feel to the vocals, complete with Hammond and fuzz guitar! Complete period piece but that's part of the appeal. Good second-shelf group.

Why do you play this version of Hush, Hush, and not the one made famous by Deep Purple?
