I just realized that this awesome talented man died on my birthday when I was 4 years old (1976). He was 66. How young.

I agree with the other comments---I should have been born about 20 to 30 years before my time to be there and watch Mercer perform live and watch his career!!! Awesome and talented. Love it!!
