Mark Schultz
Biography
Adopted at the age of two weeks old, singer/songwriter Mark Schultz grew up in Colby, KS. Although he enjoyed great success in high school sports such as track and football, Schultz' musical talents outshone his athletic strengths. He soon moved to Nashville; however, instead of fulfilling his aspirations of a career in music, Schultz ended up in youth ministry. His position as a youth leader at First Presbyterian Church served to inspire the young songwriter, causing him to write songs about people in the congregation. Weekly concerts featuring Schultz drew crowds. After continued concerts, including a benefit concert he organized at the Ryman Auditorium, Schultz signed with Myrrh Records and released his self-titled debut album in 2000. ~ Ashleigh Kittle, All Music Guide

He came to the little town of Franklin NC and play the best concert i have heard in a long time. His new songs are going to be cool.

I loved the song "He Will Carry Me" as well. It really comforted me through the loss of my grandfather.

He has a beautiful voice! My favorite is either "He's My Son" or "He Will Carry Me" I lost my 2 year-old daughter last year and his music is so inspirationa l . God Bless this man.

I love his voice he's got a God given talent, my favorite song is He's My Son... I lost my son to leaukemia in 2003... Keep singing those beautiful songs Mark!!!!

His songs make me cry because they are so touching. He really makes you think about your life and what you have done to make an impact on the world. :)

I saw him in concert and he sounds just as good as on DVD. He really is firmly planted in proclaiming his love for the Lord. When waiting in line for his autograph he just acted like any other person. Can't wait for the next disc.

I truly enjoy M.S.'s music. The song that touches my heart the most is "She was Watching" (I hope that's correct)... I have a granddau that watches her father (my son) as though her life depends on his every breathe...It makes me proud to see he is such a wonderful father and daddy to his precious off spring-I pray that his life will always reflect Christ to her--so she will "Keep Watching". Thank you Mark for a beautiful song -sung with such conviction.

If Mark wasn't so famous and I thought it would not sound trite, I would ask Mark to be my friend. I like people who like to be good and who have excellent examples.

what a man of God! I love his heartfelt songs of worship and the love of the Lord. I hope to continue to have the intimacy with Jesus the this man obviously does. Also, what a testimony of the blessing adoption can be. There is no excuse or need to murder a baby that is not wanted. Give him or her to a family that can take care of them.

love the song he wrote for his adopted mom. i had to put four beautiful babies up for adoption myself and miss them beautiful... t h e song was hard to hear but something i hope the kids say one day when they are old enough to understand i love you samuel sarah micah and joanna

The first time I ever heard Mark was while driving to see, for the first time, my new born son, whom we would later have to fight to adopt. The song was "He's My Son," and after hearing those couple minutes of music my heart and life was changed forever, and Mark had a lifelong fan and supporter. No one could have known the HUGE impact his song would have that day, as it ushered in a whole new world of love, wonder and amazement.
