Masterplan
Biography
Power metal supergroup Masterplan features Ark singer Jorn Lande, guitarist Roland Grapow, drummer Ulli Kusch (both ex-Helloween), former Iron Saviour bassist Jan S. Eckert and keyboard player Axel Mackenrott. Founded in 2002, the group quickly issued a 5-track E.P. entitled Enlighten Me, then followed it with their full-length debut in 2003; both were supported by European tour dates with Hammerfall. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide

@pwnagez0--I totally agree, Spirit Never Dies is the first song of theirs that I ever heard, and it's still one of my favorites. Kind Hearted Light is great, too; in fact, a bunch of the songs off their self-titled album are excellent. I'm surprised that Pandora doesn't have that disc in the discography.

Jorn Lande is so Bad@$$. Wounds would have to be fav so far by these guys.Rock on, Masterplan!!

Blast it all, I was sort of hoping Masterplan would remain Willow free. Oh well, at least I have (bands I'm not listing because Willow might see them), which are still entirely free from Godsmack spammers.
From the one song I've heard so far I have a feeling I'm going to like this group a lot.
Enlighten Me and Kind Hearted Light from the first album are blistering hot.

Power metal supergroup Masterplan" Indeed ! The guitar/ Keyboard break in 'Wounds' is astonishing.
More like "epico". Not to be confused with the band Epica.
I like their first album better, but Masterplan as a whole is still pretty cool.
Jorn Lande is one of the best vocalists around. His vocals on Beyond Twilight's The Devil's Hall of Fame is epic.
Yeah! Masterplan, Kamelot, Symphony X, Xandria, and Nightwish all make up my favorite station...
kinda reminds me of Whitesnake's singer at certain points. The singer and band compliment each other very well. I like it. Does anyone know a good torrent site to get this, I can't find reliable one.
Well...not exactly similar but even so, Adagio comes to mind. Check them out.

Wow, The singer is fantastic. Cannot believe the comment stating the opposite. Jorne Lande is freakin amazingly talented and powerful. His vocals are what makes the music. Check out Ark if you dig these guys, they are way better. The Album "Burn the Sun" by Ark is phenomenal.

Part of my Kamelot station, these bands complement each other quite well. Not quite the complexity of Kamelot, but more than close enough, with strong vocals and quality musicianship .
Sweet sound. Reminds me of Symphony X. At least the song I have on now does.
Incredible! I love John Lande. What ever happened to Ark?
