Very powerful band. I love their sound. It reminds me on Covenant and VnV Nation. I love the deep, powerfu l , but gentle voice of the singer.
I just starting listening to this band. Their amazing. I wonder if they have merchandise (tshirt, etc)

Does anyone else think the vocals sound like David Gahan? Their songs have a dark Depeche Mode sound to them...
Awesome band, wish they'd get back together, they had alot of potential!
Love me some neuroticfish =^) Just decided to give them their own station. Funny how the list of "other bands that sound like them" lists five of my favorite bands. I wonder, if i click over to THOSE five pages, will the lists all be so familiar? Am i really such a cookie-cutte r synthpop freak?
heck, i could do worse... =^P |
just heard "they're coming to take me away" for the first time. Pretty awesome but I still like the Lard version better :)
Really good but not great. Reminds me of the more simplistic songs by Wolfsheim.
Never heard of them before Pandora played them on my synthpop station. Not bad, though, IMO, the lyrics is their weakest point:
I can see the wall I can see you running I can feel the impact It's sad but true There're a many instances of really obvious lyrical cliches and rhyming catch-alls. There's no bio, but it seems that english is not their native language? Thumbed up a couple of their songs, but to compare - was much more impressed when Pandora led me to discover Wolfsheim. |
Absolutely love neuroticfish , it's a shame I've discovered the project just after it ended, but it's all so amazing! I love how the melody of the lyrics closely resembles Depeche Mode, but the background can get like techno or sometimes even a bit industrial!
gelb is pure genius, ive been listening to them for years, he has recently stopped making new music which is truly sad :(.
Neuroticfish has been a new favorite of mine I'm totally addicted to them rightnow lol!
..... ijust started listening to alot more alectronic music recently.... . t h a n k s to my "VNV Nation - Epicenter" (a Great Song)....thi s is realy good...a bit softer than what i ust to listen too , but good
I looked here because I thought it was the same artist from Depeche Mode...that' s somewhere from the 80's. I didn't realize this was called 'rap'.
I love the name... the music is nice but not anything that others haven't already done better. Still, when you've heard everyone else then I guess it's time to go Neuroticfish .
I'm 41 and just heard neurotic fish 4 the first time, and altho I do listen 2 rap, that is far from my only listening genre. Have a look @ my profile and U will see that without a doubt!!

Sorry but people in america are not busy listening to rap crap. Im busy reading your crap maiden13. LOL I love this music and im 25 so Blow!tOutUR@ $ $ Foreigner.
People in america are to bust listening to rap crap, as a 34 year old who can't find anything new, this is great i am going out today looking for there cds hope there is more music out there that i can like. Yes i don't have to be stuck in the 70's and 80's anymore.
It's weird: even though these guys seem to fall right into every EBM cliche, and I couldn't argue against someone who says they sound like all the usual suspects (VNV, Seabound, Assemblage 23, Covenant, etc.) for some reason their stuff just popped out at me when it came up on my EBM radio station. It ain't usual that I actually plump out for the CD but I did get Gelb and enjoy it, and will probably actually eventually get their others...
Some good bands don't have the marketing machine that many successful, though mediocre, groups have. Hopefully the exposure Neuroticfish gets here will bring them back together in some form.
Neurotic Fish is awesome, how in the hell did they not get more recognition? What Are people these days listening to?
they do a cover of there is a light by the smiths that is amazing...
First time I here this band and I see a post on 2.21.08 that they are no more as of a festival in Germany this year. That just friggin blows. Heard them on my Depeche Mode station. Which they sound a little like.
