Nick Holt spent the last several years of his life in Lincoln Nebraska where he endeared himself to many local musicians. Many of us affectionate l y referred to him as "Uncle" Nick as we frequently played together at open jams around town. Recently Nick passed away but he will be fondly remembered. From Chicago to Mississippi to Lincoln Ne and the Zoo Bar, Nick Holt was a bluesman. I am proud to have known him in "This Town I Live In".

Saw him live at BB's Lawnside BBQ in Kansas City Mo After talking with him at the bar,and watching Nick take a few shots of courage he went up and sang and played a really great show. A really great guy.-Jay in KCMO
