Twenty years ago I owned an Ofra Haza cd that I really enjoyed listening to. Why won't Pandora recognize her music? Is it some sort of political bs? If so, what happened to music transcending borders, real or imagined?

I couldn't agree more. Neglecting an entry because she's 'world music' is ridiculous - she recorded in the UK and America, often in English; had numerous projects with well-known internationa l stars; contributed to Hollywood soundtracks. . . I understand the difficulty if an artist is released on a small, local label or is virtually unknown in the West, but that situation hardly applies here.

This is ridiculous that the lack of Ofra Haza information is such. At least let a fan post something and where are all her internationa l released LP's? Ludicrous!

I like her a lot. The kind of music I'm looking for but can't really find :)

I don't understand this "Music Genome." I can't find any of my favorite artists of Israeli music other than Ofra Haza. No Arabic-langu a g e musicians are linked to Ofra Haza, either. What kind of variety is that? Where are the following artists? Tomer Yosef, Kobi Aflalo, Kobi Peretz, Eyal Golan, Ishai Levi, Moshe Levi?

I really don't get the association with the listed similar artists...? Ofra Haza was such an amazing woman. IMHO linking her music to those women is diminishing of her tallent.
