Patrick Sweany
Selected Discography
I actually had a few classes with this cat back in college at Kent State. He was a cool guy, and I knew he was still going after his music. So glad to hear it's paying off. That song I just heard was bad a**.

This guy is the real deal. He can play with real emotion, unlike a Mariah Carey.

Educated schmucks, go lick your High Fidelity vid. The song rocks or it don't, cry derivative and show us how deeply unhappy you are, everything is stolen, what you gonna steal, a Porsche or a Pinto? This is something like a BTS 65 Chevy Nova with a straight six and fading blue paint. It gets you there, in time to buy your next 12pack of Nattie Light. Thanks Pandora, the guy is worth a second listen.

NEver heard of Patrick Sweany, but is great! Can't believe haven't heard hiim before
great use of guitar and vocal matching up on chorus. less kicka$$ then the white stripes but still rocks thanks pandora.
same comment as all these dudes. no idea who patrick is but he rocks. thanks pandora wouldn't have found this otherwise

Good stuff. If you like this style/sound also check out Golden Animals - a great duo also doing the blues/punk thing. For all you saying this is a White Stripes/Blac k Keys rip off or whatever.. Listen to bands like The Stooges, MC5, The Sonics, Hendrix, CHeck out early chicago and delta blues. Get educated before making silly statements.

I came across this artist from Pandora radio and love it. patrick Sweany is original and rocks. I am glad I stumbled onto this

It just sounds like you can't stop beating your meat. you dont have the balls to listen to jack white rip your face off and appreciate it
kkd7791 white stripes are pretty much garbage... slapping my balls off my inner thigh sounds better than Meg Whites drums.
the first half of this album is amazing unfortunatel y he decided the write the songs after Your Man. the last four songs are complete garbage.
of course the black keys are totally original!!?? ? i love both of these bands...john lennon summed it up with a ripped-off quote "there's nothing you can sing that hasn't been sung"...so unless you have somehow transcended this time space i think you should appreciate any kind of brilliance.. . p sweany is very talented!
"Them Shoes" is not brilliant. First the white stripes bandwagon and now the black keys bandwagon. not much of a diff." pretty simple minded post here.
I would see him live first. He is a true musican awesome voice and killer guitar. He played 3 or 4 different kinds of guitars at the show I saw. The white stripes are garbage please do not compare them to actual blues rock. |
Not suprising it sounds like the Black Keys since Dan lent his guitar to the CD. I think it sounds great! Don't listen to uninformed haters (see jeff.emsolut i o n s )

saw him last night in b-more he is freaking awesome. Has alot of van morrison in his voice to me. One thing though your bassist freaks me out, at first i thought he was blind or something how he has bobbing his head..hahah
Amazing. I have a feeling you will be performing this song in front of tens of thousands very soon. Thank you.
"Them Shoes" is a freaking brilliant song...so simple, but sounds so great! too bad you can't pick songs on Pandora! there's always torrents...
Does anyone know anything about the cover art? (Yeah, I'm too lazy to search right now...)
Sounds great. I'd love to hear more. It's got a real Martin Sexton feel with a Jeff Healy vibe in it!
Pandora delivers goodness. Amazing music. Not everyday a sound so real strikes me.
I discovered you on Pandora. I think you are great! loking54@yah o o . c o m

I agree with Lisa Kangas... I was listening on my Black Keys station, and you popped up in the first few songs, right after I created it! Awesome. Hope all is well with you!
