I really get a lift from listening to his songs. His voice sounds remarkably like Jeff Buckley, one of my favorite artists.

Phil Wickham is such a wonderful guy, has a pure voice, and his lyrics are just awesome. :D All of his songs are inspired by the bible (God's breath to us) and they actually have substance, not just the contemporary Christian "boy band" sort of sound. It's great music to worship to. I luvz him soo much!

My son who just turned 18, told me about Phil Wickham, but I didn't listen to him and even forgot his name. Then I listened and was amazed!Love his unique style and way of worship. My son also is a worshiper and I thank God that he can be influenced by leaders like Phil.

Love love love his style of singing!! It does not sound like your typical Christian artist. So cool to share his music with my non christian friends who really can't handle the typical christian band sound! Just being honest.

P.S. My husband, 56, tired and broken, fell to his knees a year later Oct 16, 2008 when he came to realize the work God did on my heart and how in pain and at his end he truly was. Praise the Lord! He was baptized July 19, and our son 18 and daughter 23 joined him!!! We are all on a magnificent and challenging journey, and some neighbors and good friends have joined us as well. God is SOOOOO great!

Two weeks after I was saved in Sept2007, but not yet my husband, Phil played for us at our service in SJC CA, my first exposure to worship, what a blessing it is! I took home a CD and played it quietly in a closed room and sat in awe of God's word in song...Devot i o n Song is amazing, I would just cry and cry as I felt Him calling me to Him. Thank you Phil for listening to His call to use your voice and heart and praise Him in song.

If God is creativity, then that is what we should strive for. Phil Wickham's music is an act of worship.

I can totally hear a resemblance in Phil's voice with Matthew Bellamy of Muse for sure.. Looking forward to seeing Muse on U2's tour (if they have more tour dates in the US).. I've just found this guy and I really like his style... Hope to hear more from him. |

Phil Wickham in concert(espe c i a l l y with Bethany Dillon and Shane & Shane), it's like you've never experienced something so good for your soul until you've experienced worship led by these guys! It's an amazing feeling! I'm rarely ever closer to God at any given time than when I'm worshiping Him through music, and worshiping with Phil's songs are one thing, but being led by him... I get so much joy out of a good worship setting and couldn't be more thankful for music in general, especially Phil's

So I am a Christian and never really liked any of the Christian music out there. I love bands like Muse, Ours and the mighty Jeff Buckley. So imagine my delight when Phil Wickham came to my Church! Finally a great artist in the Christian world! I was blown away and have been a fan ever since. Each album he grows more and more and really raises the bar for all Christian artists.

I love this Guy...he shows his passion and humility for God as a worshipper.. . h e's an example for me .....

Beautiful song, no pun intended. Wow. So true about our Lord...may everyone come to know the love of Jesus Christ. He is the answer to everything. He is our hope, our beautiful hope.

I have been blessed to have seen Phil W. as worship leader at a couple of summer camps (Christian) that I was a counselor. He IS passionate about Jesus and all of that comes through his heartfelt music. He is also funny and a pretty nice guy. His newest song, True Love, is AWESOME and so encouraging!

I've heard this guy on the radio a couple times, and now I'm a huge fan! Most stuff on contempary christian radio is so bland, commercial, weak, but what a refreshing, honest style! His voice is so passionate, his lyrics are deep but not confusing. All that said, every lyric reflecting praise to the Father, in Jesus name, I'm on board!

The song Divine Romance expresses how I feel about Jesus, I love it and Phil Wickham is very good he seems to know a relationship with God.
