Has anyone heard any song other than "melt in to the walls" cause i haven't. Boring thats all i can say. Cripes!
I don't need to belittle them but I would like to say 'melt into the walls' is on the boring side. A great alternative is a bunch of real artists: Band of Horses. Check'm out.
Maybe a little Radiohead, but only in the vocals, and even then not really. But the guitar, the music generally, lacks the complexity and creativity of Radiohead. My first thought was Coldplay - who sort of sound like Radiohead minus the complexity and creativity as well.

I think you guys sound like commie hipster trash. Its just a simple pop song. What the hell did you want? bourgeois, very very very.
Yeah. I agree. What a rip-off. They've pretty much stolen from every "heartfelt singer" band. What a bunch of rubbish. Totally lame. Soon to be on every "Contemporar y Adult Mix" station in America. Way to go guys! Your life's work is a complete musical failure. Of course I've only heard one song. So, whatever.
if crap had a sound it would sound like this. Unoriginal, uninspiring, boring recycled pop music....
i love this band. the name maekes me think of aviatic.... also a great band. i do hear the U2 similarity in this band though. they are very relaxing and nice. great stuff this.
i hear a little bit of dashboard confessional , just a little, definately love the sound
How could you not hear Radiohead in Melt into the Walls? That guitar is practically from Airbag and towards the end it sounds like a mix between Abandoned Pools and Thom Yorke vocally.
The Travel Song by these guys popped up in my Quickmix, and I immediately bookmarked the song. I'm going to create a station of their music...tota l l y enjoyed it.
hmmm.. didn't remind me of radiohead at all the first time I heard it..
His voice is very reminiscent of Thom Yorke's, which by the way, is my favorite artist. I <3 Radiohead, but even The Eraser was a mass of astoundment. I will enjoy these guys even though they are familiar to Radiohead.
Melt Into the Walls definitely has a Radiohead feel to it and I often mistake it as a Radiohead song.
However, these guys definitely sound like U2 on everything else I've heard of theirs. |
yes, they immediately reminded me of U2
and i hate to say it but i see no comparison to anything radiohead has done, not even pablo honey |
i thought that they had sounded a little more like some of radiohead's early work. they are very good though.
U2 anyone? I cannot beleive that hasn't been mentioned but the remy zero are a big U2 rip as well.
Definitely sounds like Remy Zero, with some soulful 90's guitar rifts in there!
love it... glad i found them on Pandora, only how the hell do you pronounce their name?
I can hear a little Remy Zero (RIP) and a little Ours in here. They fit well into my "Eclectic" station.
Musically they don't sound as much like Radiohead - it's just that the lead singer's voice sounds a lot like Thom Yorke's... All in all a nice sounding band
Great albums. People would probably enjoy them even more if they could stop thinking about Radiohead. Everything sounds like something; you're distorting the experience by holding it up to the Radiohead measuring stick (or any other band, for that matter). Put it down and pick up the GOOD MUSIC measuring stick instead. Your head will clear dramatically . . .
Sorry, but I think that the quintessenti a l element of Radiohead is not sounding like anyone, so if a band emulates the sound of Radiohead, then they are fundamentall y unRadiohead- e s q u e .
...That's jus' my unsolicited opinion :) Rock on! |
the band Delerios has an older Cd out (Mezzamorphi s ) that really is similar to this style.
does sound quite a bit like radiohead, i like it.
