Pillar
Biography
Pillar is comprised of Rob Beckley (vocals), Lester Estelle (drums), Noah Henson (guitar), and Kalel (bass). These Christian rockers with an alt-metal edge have been honing their infectious sound since 1998 while attending Ft. Hays State University in northwestern Kansas. A deal with Flicker was inked in 2000 after the band's self-released debut, Metamorphosis, impressed the label. Within months, Pillar followed things up with Above. Their first single, "Open Your Eyes," was popular on the college charts, earning Above nearly 60,000 in sales. Pillar also earned the Best Rock Band award at the annual Dove Awards in 2001. A year later, Pillar relocated to Tulsa, OK, and released Fireproof. MCA picked up the band and reissued the energetic sophomore effort in 2003. Where Do We Go from Here appeared in mid-2004, and The Reckoning followed two years later. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide

I know that I have been complaining a lot about this but pandora really needs to get some of their new stuff on here. out of the 8 or 9 albums that pillar has out, pandora only has 4.
I like pillar, where do we go from here is great.... i just wonder if they will sound diff. now that they have a ttly different line up besides the singer.
chaqonatgr are you reatarded!! pllar is one of the best bands ever its third only to Skillet and demon hunter

i absolutely love the song wherever the wind blows. i recommend this song to ANYONE!
hey justinbryers m i t h , christian music is never is as popular as mainstream music. Anyway, Frontline is an amazing song.
keep rockin' Pillar ... and raising many truly evil subjects into the LIGHT OF TRUTH. "Lord, may we be sensitive to the HS's convictions / guidances!" GUIDANCE: God, U and I DANCE! Now that is such a peaceful thought!
what realy anoys me is that pandora has practicaly all of the CDs from atists like "bon jovi" and "ACDC" but the chose not to add all of the CDs by "Pillar" which is one of the best christain rock bands EVER!!!
pillar is coming out with a new cd (called "Confessions " ) in september.
alright, as of now pandora is missing at least 4 of pillar's alblums but come september they will be missing 5 CDs!!! |
umm......Goo d to know whoever u r that is below cwrunner0 and above justinbryers m i t h
Not only is Pandora is missing the three alblums listed by "Curly Q. fry" but they are also missing "Broken Down EP".
Three albums missing. Metamorphosi s , Above, and For The Love of (You just lost the) Game.
I agree with Justinbryers m i t h . For the Love of the Game is one of the best rock albums I've ever heard, and the only one that's even close to Where Do We Go From Here. And Pandora doesn't even have it, after being out for like a year? That amazes me.
NOT ONLY is pandora missing there newest alblum, pillar has two other CDs that pandora does not have yet.
there new alblum is great. its only competition is their other alblum "where do we go from here"
to aaron, when i saw them they were good and all, but the only one off key was the bass player.
I love their sound also, but their concerts are horrible. They can't reproduce the same crisp sound in live performances . I saw them twice in concert and each time they were singing off key.
This is simply great music with the greatest message at its core. I hope these guys stick around, we could use more great bands like Pillar who like to rock and share the love of Jesus with the world.
