Biography
One of the first rappers from Tennessee to release CDs, Playa Fly debuted in 1996 with Fly S**t, his first of several albums released independently by Super Sigg Records. The rapper made a name for himself initially by dissing Three 6 Mafia ("Flizy Comin' [Triple B**ch Mafia, Pt. 2]"), a much more recognized rap act from Tennessee, but the controversy never amounted to much, and Playa Fly remained on the underground circuit in subsquent years. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
