Pro-Pain
Biography
Based in New York, Pro-Pain is an alternative metal band that blends the aggressiveness of hardcore punk with the technical precision of speed metal. The band released their debut album, Foul Taste of Freedom, in 1992. The record was well received within metal circles, and over the next five years, the group slowly built up a dedicated following across America and Europe. Truth Hurts, the group's second album, appeared in 1994 and was followed two years later by Contents Under Pressure. The band's eponymous fourth album was released in January 1998 and Round Six followed in fall 2000. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

I first heard of them by twelve, I think the album was called The Stench of Piss and was the title track. They kick a** but be cautious of a band taht is called propane; they suck, do not confuse the two.

Just heard them for the first time on a new Pandora station and I kinda liked the song -- Torn, from Prophets of Doom -- so I came to check out their info page... Seeing some of the stupid comments here almost made me rethink the thumbs-up decision. But then I decided that a good song is a good song, even if some of the people on this conversation seem to belong with the illiterates and a**holes on YouTube.

Been a fan of gary meskil and company since the early days when Gary & Dan(one of ProPain's earlier drummers) were members of the CRUMBSUCKERS . . an awesome band from BALDWIN. Gary took what was left after CRUMBSUCKERS . . . . turned it into HEAVY RAIN(and something else I think?)..... . heavy Rain became Pro-Pain, and the rest is history! A real down in the trenches type of band...hardw o r k i n g , blue collar guys....brea k i n ' thier asses to put food on the table and gas in the car
