Wow. Really offbeat choice for Pandora. But what the hell, I listen to this album all the time.
The Protomen rule. Now, where's the new album already? |

@___@ I totally didn't expect to see The Protomen on Pandora. I mean, it took iTunes forever to get them! I absolutely love this group! Maybe I'm a rabid fan, but I know the story front and back like I was the one who wrote it. It's such a great story, and each song is great as well, in their own rights. It may not be the perfect choice for a non-Megaman fan, but Megaman fans are sure to enjoy if they give it a shot. Long Live Protoman!

I would like to see their album Makeup and Vanity Set added to this library. They have a great song on that one called: Unrest in The House of Bits

I've been waiting for this band to show up on Pandora for a good long time now. Thank God. I can't wait for the new album.

I can't believe that a band this awesome actually exists! And it's indie!

I want to try and describe the smörgåsbord that is the Protomen. Drawing from eclectic yet purposeful arrangements and a stage presence beyond the likes of anything seen since question mark and the Mysterions. The Protomen offer a blend of rhythmic synths, epic guitar, and lyrics which transcend the mega man plot to reveal an experience that we are all a part of- the struggle for survival.

This band retells the story of Rock Man (mega man to us Americans) and his older brother Protoman as they fight the forces of the evil Dr. Wily who has conquored the world in the year 200X. The album is a fairly eclectic rock opera focusing on this story. The lead singer Panther seems like the son of Meat Loaf, Bruce Dickenson, and Eric Bloom combined. Very good stuff.

Finally! This band is the nuts. Listen to the wisdom of their tale...we must fight!
