The Pyramids left behind a legacy of surf songs somewhere between the slick minimalism of the Astronauts and the wild "cowabunga" attitude of Del-Fi bands such as the Lively Ones. Their "Midnight Run" is a personal fave. And let's not forget their appearance in the Beach Party movies.
