Quietdrive
Biography
The Minneapolis, MN-based quintet Quietdrive formed in 2003 when friends Brandon Lanier (drums), Droo Hastings (bass), and Justin Bonhiver (guitar) heard some MP3s posted online by singer Kevin Truckenmiller and contacted him about starting a band. Truckenmiller agreed, bringing in college friend Matt Kirby (guitar, vocals) to complete the group. Quietdrive then spent the next year and a half touring around the Midwest, gaining attention both from their live show and their MySpace site. Shortly after signing to Epic in late 2004, Quietdrive changed their name to "Sneaker 2 Bomb," but recanted the decision before their debut album, When All That's Left Is You, was released in 2006. ~ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide

As Greeday? First off Green Day cut their teeth in the Berkley and Gilman punk scene when you, and probably this band as well, were still sucking on the teet.

Ugh, I am in love with this band. Their new (well sorta new)record is great. And they are currently writing! More great music on the way!

ive seen these guys 4 times when they were not even headlining and there was less than 60 people at the concers! its awsome to see a great band make it to the main stream with indi roots!

actually, it was Sneaker 2 Bombs, which was Truckenmille r and Kirby's band where they went to college at St. John's University. when they combined the two, they stayed with the name Sneaker 2 Bombs until they were signed, briefly changed it back to Quietdrive, then The Never Ending for a very short time, and finally back to Quietdrive for the debut.
