Rad.
Selected Discography
This a very nice smooth piece. I've never heard of Rad. but this cut is one to add to my collection of rare grooves.

Joe Zawinul, Joe Sample, and of course Herbie Hancock, all come to mind; which is really to say Miles Davis, the crucible of Jazz for over thirty years now.

A nice cover from hte monster Thrust album. Feel oblighd to note that the great saxophonist from this band is Bennie Maupin.

Yo, that's the name I've been looking for Linda Pence and Cold Blood. That was a tight band back in the day. Another underrated band. Especially here in VA.
I like this group RAD. Sounds good. |

THIS REMINDS ME OF LYDIA PENCE WITH COLD BLOOD,1970'S .
AN OLD FAVORITE.... S H E IS STILL AROUND, WAS PLAYING LOCALLY AWHILE BACK |

it's nice to hear this style again but it is not the same as the artists who originally dreamed it up. nice reproduction though.

i agree it is a bean burrito at taco bell, and to top it off this is an old tune by herbie hancock when they did this tune at zellerbok auditorium berkly ca in 1973 they kicked a** Billy Mopin on baritone sax took this to another level these people do no justice to this old head hunter tune or should i say their stictly commercial

It's ok, but gives me this generic Dag like studio funk inspired by Brand New Heavies who are great, but Rad being not as good... Kinda like a bean burrito at Taco Bell - I'd eat it when I'm hungry and not complain, and sometimes the onions hit you just right...
