Rain Perry
Biography
Folky singer/songwriter Rain Perry is perhaps best known for her song "Yosemite," a twangy tune that won in the folk category of the 2001 John Lennon Songwriting Contest and went on to be covered by Tom Russell and Nanci Griffith in 2003. Her first album, Balance, was released in 1999 on her homegrown label, Precipitous Records Perry's second full-length album, Cinderblock Bookshelves, came out nearly ten years later. ~ Margaret Reges, All Music Guide
