Biography
Ray Boltz was one of the most successful Contemporary Christian vocalists of the '90s, selling over a million copies of his first five records. Boltz released his first album, Seasons Change, in 1992. Thank you sullivanstur t l e ! ! You are correct, Ray does have God's grace! Like the rest of us that have received Jesus. I know this is a divisive issue and I am not saying that what Ray is doing is right or wrong. If anyone has ever had a friend or family member that is gay then you realize it suddenly becomes more real than just saying "That's wrong!" Let's just remember Jesus' grace extended to all of us and that none of us deserve it any more or less than Ray Boltz.

I have to say this I've kept my mouth closed to long. I think no I believe that Ray can be gay and still have God's grace. And it's not mine or your place to condem him, its God not us that can do that. Ray has been bringing people to God with his songs and music. I believe God loves me and I believe God loves Ray. It is a shame Ray had to turn away from his first love. Don't get me wrong, I was a homosexual before I became a Christian, but I knew it was wrong, even before I became a Christian. He is living a lie, and trying to make it justifiable before God, which does not work. God called homosexualit y an abomination, which means that Ray was NOT born that way, but has chosen to live in that lifestyle, which is NOT acceptable by God.

I agree whole heartedly with Shan. What is he saying to the rest of the world? He has this song: God knows, I tried. Did he forget where the power is? it isnt in his ability to chose not to commit that horrible ungodly act but the POWER is in God to "keep you from falling". But you have to want to be kept.

Shan I agree with you totaly, and I know that it's wrong. and I also know that the more he is talked about in a bad way, it will only hurt and not help him come back to the Lord anytime sooner. I know from the thing I've been thru. I will just keep praying to God that Ray is helped not hurt. to sullivanturt l e : Ray openly admitted to being gay. I have been blessed by Ray's music as well. However, God will not condone sin and we can not condone sin. I hope that he will repent. There is a difference in God's eyes with someone stuggling with homosexual desires and asking God to help them do the right thing than someone who divorces his wife so he can be apart of an immoral relationship with another man. God can and will forgive IF Ray repents and turns from his sinful ways.

I've had to say something in my 1st 3 comments, but I really had to pray last night about some of the things people that have commented have got to do some praying thier self's. the world is to full of hate. I know that kind of hate and it's turned me away from alot of things in my life. but thank God he is with me and guiding me. 24 yrs ago he came into my life and I know that he is the only reason i'm still here and walking in faith. we need to pray for us all the time if we can. We all were born into sin and have the sin nature to deal with our entire life. Thanks be to God that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to authorize each of us to become children of God by believing and receiving Jesus only for salvation. But if we are to become Christ-like, as a true Christian is supposed to become, and walk according to the Spirit, we will get the strength to overcome the sinful nature in our flesh. This is not a once a time event, but an everyday event. Repent Ray!

I really belive that Ray has some of the best ways to serve the Lord. I love his songs and can totally relate to them with so much heart.

I believe that Ray Boltz is one of the best singers. He has wonderful lyrics and they really touch my heart. I sing and I can relate to a lot of his songs. They are songs that really cause me to praise the Lord when I sing them. I hope that God continues to bless him in his ministry. I know that it has been given to him from God.
