Led by vocalist Andrew Cheairs, a reverend at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS, Reverend Andrew Cheairs & the Songbirds use music as a vehicle for expressing their deep religious convictions. Formed in the early '70s, the group continues to feature Cheairs' brother, two sisters, and a cousin.
