Interesting mkeroee, I've never heard that before. Although I'd still think that changing Christmas to Xmas was done to make it more politically correct. Imo of course

The X in Xmas is the symbol for the Greek letter chi. If I remember correctly, this letter was a symbol for the Christ in the early church, so it is not really taking Christ out of Christmas.

shannon, it's like Xmas...takin g Christ out of the word and putting an X in His place. I find it fairly offensive... d o e s typing 4 additional letters to spell out His name take THAT much effort?

Rita can take you to a place of worshipping the King. Knowing that HE is pleased at all who worship HIM. Jesus has blessed her ministry unto HIM.

I am surprised that I like Rita. I am not very fond of most Xn pop music vocalists. She has a sincerity and almost a "holiness" that other Xn pop singers are missing. (They are too sensual, too worldly.) Stylisticall y , Rita Springer is the Sarah Maclachlan of Xn worship music. The timbre of her voice is really stunning. I love the work Jesus has done in her.

||
The anointing that God has placed in her life is unique... she's consumed by God... and that is what really shows in her lirics..its all about him

Lenny, you know, the point of worship music is not really making people worship the artist. A Christian artist is going to be trying to help people worship God. Not that there is anything wrong with appreciating someone's obvious talent, but we should be focusing our worship on God, not man.
Rita does indeed have a very powerful voice, and she sings beautifully. |

her worship music is so awesome i find myself wanting to worship her!
