I personally knew Robert Jr. and his first wife, Annie, met them when I was dating Freddie King; spent a couple of nights at their place in Cleveland for his 80th birthday party at their invite and miss them both desparately. He is surely a national treasure.
Linda Kerr
One of the real heroes of Post WWII blues, but with a powerful link to pre-War blues because he was the stepson and pupil of Robert Johnson. (He was variably called Robert Jr. Lockwood and Robert Lockwood Jr.) In Chicago in the 1950's he was a first call guitarist for Chess and played with many of the greats. He settled in Cleveland, OH in later life and had a long second national and internationa l career based there. He died within the last year or so. Pandora should definitely post his bio.
