Jenkees is just awesome... I don't know how else to describe his music. His second album is even better than his first.

Not only is his skill, improvisatio n incredible and ability to make really catchy stuff out of the most unsuspecting intros, he also is just a cool guy and very upbeat, humble and inspiring. A REAL role model in music unlike these other hacks on the radio.

The funniest thing about this guy is not his glasses, but his approach to music in general. He never learned to read music! His H.S. band teacher just let him improvise and play when he noticed his talent, regardless of his inability to read sheets. Then he takes instruments that are considered obsolete by most other musicians and creates his own style. Definitely an innovator in his own right.

I bought his CD because I wanted to support him to make more music, this guy is just starting out and with the proper guidance can become a great moving force of music.

been keeping tabs on him for about a year. Can't wait for the second cd to drop. (was due out in December but he is taking his time.) His little collaboratio n with an sts9 drumbeat is bloody epic considering what he adds by jamming.

He has what we call a true gift. You can't learn to play like this, you're born with this ability. Music that is created in his head in real time and then translated instantly into digital format for all of us to hear, with a concert like performance no less, is superior to even most professional musicians greatest work during their career. Music literally flows from him.
