If I never heard Tom Waits do this song-I would say this is really good.But Tom`s version is Much better.Tom`s slower tempo,and he put a lot more feeling into it IMO.Stained with Mustard and whiskey-WTH? It`s Blood and Whiskey-than k you very much...

What's the point in recording a song in almost the exact same way the original artist did it? Comes across as a watered down imitation, and who needs that?

also reminds me of Jason Webley- who I haven't found here yet, hopefully he'll be "catalogued" soon. Any fan of T.W. would likely enjoy Jason Webley.

A good imitation of early Tom Waits - his voice was shot well before 2003 (which makes you like him even more)

I had never heard this artist before it came up on my Tom Waits station. .. I think I am hooked now! Great, great music!
