The Floyd is definately there, but I also hear some early king crimson. Nice group. I agree the last recording is much more commercial, but a good play. Hopefully they'll get back to their prog roots...

Nice, little ELP,Yes synth with some nice Floydish / Porc Tree Guitar - not bad, I will check out more

I just purchased their latest - out in 2008 - and it's a bit more 'pop' than I like.

I think I like it! Who are these guys? They definitely sound like a "jazzy" Floyd.
This group started as a Floyd cover band, and it shows in most of thier music. A few of thier albums have some Floyd pieces on them. Great group with a great mix of the PF sound plus their own character.

Great band. Sorta of in the vain of Porky Tree, Pink Floyd, etc. Check out their site at

Wow. My first thought was Camel. Check out their self titled album.
This is good stuff. |

Steve wilson is unreal! Opeth, Blackfield, Porcupine tree. He is even better live.
Good ear morb30. It is Ray Wilson; searched Rpwl and read their Wikapedia entry.
they're similar to Opeth from the perspective, perhaps, of someone who knows only Damnation.
Morb30's right: singer sound just like Ray Wilson. Anyone know what happened to him? Haven't heard from him since the disasterous Genesis comeback album... which, by the way, I really liked despite poor sales....

Very good, I had not heard of them before. I like the old-style keyboards.
