Saving Abel
Biography
Formed in 2004 by vocalist Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null, Saving Abel combine riff-heavy hard rock with sexually charged lyrics and Southern rock influences. The quintet took root in Corinth, MS, where Weeks and Null cut their teeth in different bands before merging their songwriting talents. In early 2005, the duo's music attracted attention from producer Skidd Mills, who invited Weeks and Null to record in his Memphis studio. Juggling day jobs and regional gigs, the two began driving back and forth between Corinth and Memphis, sporadically recording their self-titled EP with Mills while assembling a full lineup comprised of guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor, and drummer Blake Dixon. Within a year, the EP had earned Saving Abel a contract with Virgin Records, and Mills returned to helm their full-length debut. Combining new material with the EP's best songs, the self-titled album was issued in March 2008. ~ Andrew Leahey, All Music Guide

so much hate because it's not 'your' music. it's not hard enough, it's not soft enough, it's too poppy..
it's their music. if you dont like it, dont listen to it. and do the rest of us a favor - shut the f- up. |
addicted is the best song of their in my opinion...i' t s rilly catchy
Oh My GOD!!DX DX DX That damned song "Addicted" came out and all the girls at my school went bonkers over it. It made me sick. They don't even KNOW what REAL hard rock music is!! I can almost cry. T.T

theyre decent.defin i t e l y not great. you could say theyre in between suck and ok.
This is what happens when I turn the radio dial to the "new rock" station after almost a year. YUCK! This makes my ears hurt.
addicted is one of my favorite songs ever. and, oh yeah, the album cover isn't that bad either.
I personally love Saving Abel.... I bought and listen to their album all the way through. I have seen them in concert once and look forward to seeing them again in the future....
so i just got reassured to how much this band sucks ... was drivin listening to the rock station i usually listen to, and they were playing some real soft s**tty sounding song. first thought was "what the f**k is this crap, and why are they playing it?" was about to change the station cuz i couldnt stand it anymore but song ended. sure enuf the dj says its some song by saving abel. surprised? not really. these guys blow hard. nothing spectacular, new, or enjoyable bout their "music." lol
So putting "fine chicks" on their cover makes up for their crappy music?- LOL!!- "Stalker" must be an adolescent.. .
i love this song though it is super perverted this is the only song of their's that i have heard but i do want to hear more
addicted is the only one ive heard and its good.
and i've heard theyre a little...ina p p r o p r i a t e . mom wont like this... |
My dad hates this band.
But u know what they say abou kids these days. "They'll always do what you say not to do and like what you don't." Saving Abels good. |
i love addicted.... . and 18 days but mostly addicted. i had the lyrics (the rolling round with me version) by the second time i listened to it then my radio at home went to the more approiate version... losers!
Hey Hey Hey- Let's curb the negativity a bit. I use moments when this "band" cycles up to stare at their album cover. At least they had they decency to put a fine chicks hiney there to entertain those unentertaine d by their "music."
nickelback is alright.hind e r and jo bros, on the other hand, are more in the same league as saving abel. woot dee woot!!!!
