ditto with sabymats, kinda weird how I ran into them but nonetheless I am grateful.
I'm a little bit pissed they didn't have the original versions of Tank! and The Real Folk Blues on the box set. However it is still great.

Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts are TRUE MASTERS. Listen to the music they collaborated on together and you will hear the entire history and evolution of music. I LOVE ALL THEIR WORK - Levon Poe levonpoe@hot m a i l . c o m

This band is awesome with all the variety they have. Thanks to Cowboy Bebop I have come to meet them. XD

For your question Staci the answer is "Cowboy Bebop Tank! The Best" released by Victor Entertainmen t back in 2004. It is track number 11. For some reason it was never put on the 2002 box set or any of the 7 OSTs.

Oh excellent, at last can get some of my anime favs on pandora now. <3
steve conte sang on some of the cowboy bebop tracks, that must be the connection. |
THANK you Pandora! I've been hoping for some Seatbelts on my station for a while now.
This is the only big band that turns my head - jazzy, eclectic, even when I don't like it, never boring. Am still trying to guess what they might have been ingesting before performing "What Planet Is This?" or maybe that is their natural state? Thank you, Pandora!

Like most, I was introduced to The Seatbelts through the hit anime series "Cowboy Bebop". Their music was as much a part of the show as Spike, Faye, Jet, Ed, and Ein. It gave the show itself a unique identity, a unique character. I purchased my first Cowboy Bebop OST just weeks after watching the show for the first time. I went on to collect several more. They remain among my favorite CDs in my collection, especially "Blue" and "No Disc".

wonder why they group Illaria Graziano* an Steve Conte w/ them?
*=misspell i know |
Woah, I've always been a fan of Cowboy Bebop music (and other shows where Yoko Kanno does the scoring, like Macross Plus).. and just tried entering 'the Seatbelts' to see if they had it. Pandora rocks!!
If you like jazzy music with 'world music' influnces, you'll like the Seatbelts.
Yoko Kanno is kind of the brain-child of this group. She does excellent stuff.

"The band covers a wide range of music styles." -christopher . v i l l a l t a
That's an understateme n t . These guys are chi-chi-chi- c o w a b u n g a ! |
The music was composed for Cowboy Bebop (by the way, an excellent show - I own the entire series), much of which is not even played on Pandora. The rest of the music is a variety of jazz which sounds, at times, more like Asian pop, and at other times, like urban improv beats. The band covers a wide range of music styles.
You are correct sir. The Seatbelts and Yoko Kanno work pure genius yet again.
The seatbelts are awesome!I believe they did all the music for the film and series "cowboy bebop"
