Selah
Biography
Two-thirds of the gospel vocal trio Selah grew up in Africa, and that influence makes itself felt on the group's 1999 debut album, Be Still My Soul. Press On appeared two years later. You Deliver Me was released by Curb Records in 2009. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide

Now this is singing! Look at God! He has given us so much (His SON, His Holy Spirit) and now Selah. Thank you Lord what a wonderful group; you just don't find singing like this anymore. May God always bless and keep you. May all that you do for our Lord be blessed.

I'd like to be taken away, but i'm in the middle of doin' taxes, so I'll just praise the Lord and remember that if Stephen can still sing after losing his little girl, Ican give praise while doing taxes, becaus e i never could sing, but I can give praise.

this group calms my storms, lifts me outof my miry mess and allows me to remember that we're allin this together, and if it's not going to be all about me,it'll leave more time and space for Him.

Oh my Lord....how this song has ministered to me! I and two others sang this at my former church and it blessed me as we were singing. It is so filled with faith and hope. This group blessed me the time they were together.

When a vocal group/band brings tears to my eyes, it is a good feeling. When the group/band is a Christian group, all the better. But, when Selah started singing "You Raise Me Up", and I was tearing up by the end of the first line - that is God speaking through them. Halleluia!!

I recently came across their cd and they are one of a VERY select few Christian artists where you can sense their passion through the music. They love what they are doing and you can tell by the way they sing. Too many times, Christian songs are sung without the passion that should exist, not so with them. It is music I turn to when I need to be encouraged in my walk.

The first Christian/Go s p e l group I've been impressed with in a really long time.
Blown away is probably a better term. I love this music. |

The second time I saw Selah was when they were opening for Michael W. Smith. They were amazing again. My favorite song by them is Bless the Broken Road.

The first time I went to see Selah(1999)I had no idea who they were. My grandma was visiting family in Texas and one of our friends from church was going to see the group so I bought a ticket for my grandma and I to go see them at a local college. We went with our friend and loved it. The end of the concert was out of this world. Selah started to sing Amazing Grace or How Great Thou Art acapella. They slowly left the stage as the crowd song the rest of the song. Since then they are my favorite.

I love the worship sons you sing, just keep praising God the way you do. May God continue to bless you.

The blend of African and the contemporary music in this truck is so awesome

Their music moves me to tears as I realize how far short I fall from the glory of God.

This group just puts me nearer to the presence of God. They absolutely bless my heart with all of the songs that they sing. Anyone who listens can come to know the Lord, just by listening to the heart of the song. Hallelujah!1 God bless them all.......
