The Sisters of Mercy frontman and songwriter Andrew Eldritch's band aparte from S.O.M. was more alligned with the goth genra than were S.O.M. This is the epitaph to both S.O.M. and the Gun Club whose bassist and Andrew formed the new and known Sisters Of Mercy.
