I remember Starbuck. Loved the two albums I had of theirs. Wish they would re-release them both.

I remember this song being the music for the LA Zoo commercial in the late 70s. I had to listen to this song on the way to the beach when I was a KID....I HATED THIS SONG!!! These guys sounded like there were on way too much cocaine when they recorded this song.

How come you don't have any info one this group. They are from Macon GA. I had a chance to get to know this group in the 70's. They were the lead band for Boston in '77 but were so different with the tap dances, spoons and the xylaphone. Bruce was the lead, Darryl was on guitar, Jimmy on bass, Boe on everything and I believe the other guy was Keith.(sorry if I'm wrong) that was a long time ago. They were really original but very laid back. Not very driven and I think they were glad to go home

Totally diggin on Starbuck for many years! I just wish I could find Drop a Little Rock on CD or iTunes! I once found it on Napster and in the middle of downloading it, a chat window popped up. The person on the other end claimed to be in the band but I had NO IDEA how to use chat feature. I searched help on how to use chat but to no avail! He took my lack of response as my ignoring him and cancelled my download. I'd a known, I might have kept the partial, since it seems it was my only chance. :(
