Suicide Commando
Biography
Industrial experimentalist Johan Van Roy created his brash goth rock in 1986 when forming Suicide Commando, an eclectic spin-off of influences such as Cabaret Voltaire, Skinny Puppy, and Frontline Assembly. Self-promotion throughout the '80s and early '90s led Suicide Commando to ink a deal with Off Beat and an official label debut (Critical Stage) in 1994. Suicide Commando scored several club hits on the first album, so when the second effort Stored Images was issued the following year, the band found themselves with a bigger following and such praise led to a Critical Images tour. A limited edition EP box set was issued in coordination of the tour as well as the Contamination EP in 1997. More dance-club hits came in 1998 with the release of Construct-Deconstruct and two years later Mind Strip appeared. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide

These guys are in my library of cds and still favorites of most of the people I know.
*can only chuckle at the comment below* I can immediately note the differences between Wumpscut and Suicide Commando! Likely Wumpscut had an influence on SC, but they both have very distinct styles, at least to MY ears. I count both projects among my favourites. And I love freaking out on the dance floor to SC's Helrazor"...
never been a big fan of wumpsc.... oh wait... is this :W:? ahahahahahhh a a a h a ! i think rudy and johan are the same person... just releasing the same material under two different names...
Great club music. I've heard them often over the years but still have yet to buy an album. Now I think I will. Thanks Pandora.
Me thinks the name of this band is very very Rivet. Not too many Ham-and-Egge r s would deal well with the music anyway.
blah... is it over and over and over and over yet? their best songs are the ones that other bands remix...
Yep, thumbs up for this sh#t. As for the name, whatever.... . . . . . . . . . .
yea, this band kicks tits! gets me hyped to go do gnarly s**t, like read a book or kick a tree. super rad
Really, really stupid name. I can't imagine who would flaunt 'I listen to Suicide Commando!' around to other people. XD
So good. Hard beats and those melodies that allow you to loose yourself before the aggressive beat forces you to move again.

Ooh, 'Bleed For Us All'!!!! Whoa, awesome! They make me think of Wumpscut if Wumpscut switched to decaf. Go, band, GO!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! !
Good song, though I'm used to ones that are faster (for dancing). (Not that danceablity is my only criterion, not at alllllllllll l l l l l . )
