They seem to capture the sound of winter perfectly, as well as my obsession with "futuristic" and "space-y" sounds, without being cheesy. Probably one of my favorite bands right now, and that'll likely be for a long time. Can't get enough \m/

They have some good songs instrumental wise on their latest albulm but nearly all their lyrics are basically FML emo trash, and what isnt that comes off sounding like a poor imitation if Scar Symmetry.
I hope their new albulm is good, I enjoyed Antares, even if it had it's low points. |

slipknot has a dj, AND a sampler... that job can easily be done by a single person... but they r still cool

ryknow, slipknot is talented in some areas more than others, their drummer and guitarist are pretty good, and corey taylor is getting better at singing, the other 6 or how many people in the band of course suck, but they have some talent.

talent and influences are relative depending the genre... imagine all the canadians that are or any trailer trash inspired by chad kroger does that mean he has talent or song writing i think not. as for sybreed or in flames is truly epic but never get the recognition because its not stuff people can sing in a bar

Wow, someone needs to chill. If you didnt realize LLM Slipknot is one of the biggest influences in metalcore, and korn in Nu-metal, both awesome and talented bands, whether you like them or not is your opinion but you can't deny their talent.

@Weeping Willow XIII: What the f**k is your f**king deal, you piece of s**t. Why the f**k do you love Godsmack so much? They are a s**tty band in a s**tty genre. You would probably like Korn and Slipknot, even though nobody else does. Do you like any metal bands other than f**king Godsmack. If so, respond to this comment with a list. If not, as I suspect, then you need to go freeze to death at the North Pole. You should do this either way, in case you were wondering, you piece of s**t!!!

Just bought both their CDs. Kinda of a techo Fear Factory. Gonna take a while to get my ears around all the complexity and texture. Thanks Pandora.
