Biography
Rock singer/songwriter/guitarist Taylor Hollingsworth was born in Birmingham, AL, and began playing the guitar at 14. After stints in Cutgrass and Verbena, he became the leader of Taylor and the Puffs, who made the album You Know That Summers Comin', released by Skybucket on March 22, 2004. He made his solo debut with the EP Shoot Me, Shoot Me, Heaven on Brash Music later in 2004, followed on January 24, 2005, by his first full-length solo album, Tragic City. His second solo album, Bad Little Kitty, was released by Mass Music on July 29, 2008, as he embarked on a tour. He also played guitar on the self-titled solo debut by Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes and was a sideman with Maria Taylor. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
