This recording, year 200, proves that gypsy soul pushed its face into the music that D'jango R. and Oscar A. set out to celebrate and its absolutely progressed into a rocket ride with the particular ensemble here!!! The Guitar, Bass, Violin and Accordeon are just plain too good together! Rage on brothers and sisters, listening to this is HEAVEN.

Courtesy of Amazon & Christina Roden; Tchavolo Schmitt is a Strasbourg-b a s e d guitar virtuoso, a latter-day master of the jazzy French manouche (Gypsy) swing style made famous by Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. He was born in 1954 into a family of musicians and was soon a fixture at jam sessions, bistros, and parties.
