Tegan Northwood
Selected Discography
It's hard to listen to something this arresting and sit at my desk at work under the harsh flourescent lighting and sterile glare of my computer screen. There's just got to be something more than this... but i digress, good tune, and yes, more than a little reminiscent of my lovelies the Cocteau Twins.

beautiful... e t h e r e a l . . . . r e m i n d s me of a young Robin F. takes me back to the good ole days, gothic and all!

There's a little LUSH in there as well. CocteauTwins S u n d a y s L u s h what a funny name. I agree with Tide Pool, it's just beautiful, ethereal, atmospheric music. So enjoy it for what it is. It's heaven's gate from most commercial crap. She has a pretty voice indeed. Check out the Rose Chronicles as well.

The fact that we all share the ethereal music lust means that there is not even the slightest necessity for bad vibe posting, leave that for the You-tube trolls. We all love Cocteau and we all love whatever else takes us away from societies "Girls Gone Wild Spring Break IV" corporate crap. I love you all, you Elven misfits!

there is something sweet and smooth with her work, oceanic, rolling like waves

That's a solid ripoff. I guess if you can wake up in the morning, look yourself in the mirror and feel good about giving your life energy to copying a true artist, more power to you. Personally, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Next!

I have only heard a few of this signer's work, but she is one of the best I have heard in a long time.

I love the 2 mongs comments below me. They must not be true Cocteau Fans. Go listen to corporate boogie rock you f**king boogers!
incredible song, one of the greatest i have ever heard in my lifetime, mezmerizing, i can't believe it's not Elizabeth, who cares i want more
Very derivative of the mighty Twins, but I'm enjoying it like I would generic "Cola".
Ya, I began to wonder if Robin had produced it...really pretty...hav e n ' t heard anything quite that Cocteau-esqu e in a long time.
Wow this artist captures much of the qualities I love in my favorite vocalist Elisabeth Frasier.
