I wonder why there is nothing written about Staford to go with his music? Is there anything known about him?

Yes, just like another commenter, it is easy to confuse him with Elvis.

Some of the Stafford/Pre s l e y confusion might be caused by the fact Elvis recorded Suspicion before Stafford did but it wasn't as successful. Does anyone remember any of Stafford's other recordings ("I'll touch a Star", "Amarillo by Morning")?

Elvis is the one and only. However, I have always had to admit that on Suspicion, Terry Stafford struck lightning in a bottle and pulled the "rabbit out of the hat."
