One of my favorite Pierce appearances is as part of "Toy Matinee" on their eponymous (and only) album from 1990. Powerful album with stellar work from Pierce, Kevin Gilbert, Brian MacLeod and Guy Pratt.

Hey Pandora! Get some albums by Marc Bonilla, who was the touring replacement for Pierce in the live version of Toy Matinee. Marc is currently working on Keith Emerson's next album.

Tim was the guitar guy that all the young guitarists looked up to in my days in Albuquerque. He was always a heck of a nice guy too. If you look at his credits, the guy has been on literally hundreds of commercial recordings and is very much in demand for session work.
