They are a band from Oakland, California who put out a couple of albums with Birdman Records and are no longer playing together. You might like the music of a new band Sir Lord Von Raven including Flys' songwriter and vocalist Eric Von Raven. Their debut album is Throw me back in the Ocean.

Never heard of this band before. Is this an old band, or one of those phony new bands that try to sound like a group from long ago?

Sounds pretty good though either way..
