They seem to have no connection to the D.C. Tone Rangers. On the album credits it lists the artist as "John Michael Higgins & His Symphony of Guys". In the movie, he refers to the group as "Tone Rangers". I fear this "group" was just a one-off for the movie. If anyone can dig up more info on the members I'd love to know who the other singers are.

They are an a cappella group based out of DC, middle-age guys who all sang in college.
