Tony Terry just oozzes with emotion when he sings "When I'm With You." Love like this is truly rare. For some reason, I felt this guy was truly in love with some special lady when this song hit the charts. I hope his love is even deeper after the years have gone by. I have been fortunate enough to see Tony Terry live twice. Once early on in his career. In Chattanooga he performed "With You" among others. He brought lovers closer together that night. With you is even more beautiful knowing that the words were from his heart about his little girl. I saw him again in the spring of last year at Yolanda King's memorial service. He seems to give his all effortlessly . I've seen him on BET in action-rehea r s i n g a gospel song. He looks and sounds great!

I have known Tony Terry for 6 years and he is as nice a person as his voice is great. I got to see him last year, also as the male backup for Roberta Flack. They put on a great show. Although his popular stuff is where his bread and butter is, his true love is gospel.
