Biography
Brothers Dwayne and Raphael Wiggins and cousin Timothy Christian have proven themselves durable guardians of the soul and funk tradition, while also infusing their music with enough contemporary devices to remain popular. This Oakland trio scored a number one R&B hit right out of the box in 1988 with "Little Walter," a song that generated some criticism from gospel audiences for its use of the melody from "Wade in the Water." But they've since been able to keep things going on their own, as their LPs, The Revival in 1990 and Sons of Soul in 1993, have also been enormously successful. Tony! Toni! What else can you say about these guys,they are great! Tony toni tone and Mint condition are the best soul bands of the last few decades. I love reading how these guys brought back memories for Franroth, everyones life has a soundtrack and thats just another reason music is so important.

These songs from Tony Toni Tone really bring back the good ole' days when Sacramento's Oak Park District was a truly kickin' and alive place with four night clubs within about one mile's stretch. Now it is such a sad and depressing place at night. The last remaining club from 'the days' is like a ghost of what it used to be in the 1980's and 90's. That is what White-run "Civic Improvement" does for a vibrant Black community.

I hear their songs and I go back remembering what I was doing the first time I heard it. They came with it.

I can always hear there music and its like hearing them for the first time everytime never get to much of there sound my daughters were raised to the beat of old school and they know what time it is just kickin back to real music without all the profoul words of todays music
