this is hardcore not metal, metal-core, or death metal. and flyleaf is most certainaly not black metal. im not huge into genre classificati o n , but holy s**t there is some dumb people out there. like willow (WWIII)

hmmm... back in 1993 this same exact sound came from bands like Bloodshed and The Blamed. It was called hardcore, not metal, not metalcore, not even remotely like metal at all. It's hardcore. that's not a dis. I like both hardcore and metal. But it isn't metal and I wish it would stay on my hardcore station and off my metal station.

seth no... believe me flyleaf is NOT black metal... White chapel is black metal there is a HUGE difference flyleaf is just metal. War of Ages and demon hunter are heavy meatal.

war of ages is one of the best bands to ever come out of my home town Erie, PA. They put other metal bands like godsmack to shame. Something that they have conveyed at all of their shows that i have been to is that christianity is important to them but they dont want to be typified, they just make metal, and happen to all be christian.

What was I going to say? Oh, right. War of Ages are freaking great in the arena of Christian Metal, but I still think they can't shake a stick at the likes of Demon Hunter. |

I make my own rap music, and I'm not going to say I'm as good as him (concerning "mainstream idiocy" that is) but if you like him, you'll most likely hate EVERYTHING in my music

I must agree with PMENDOZA221 August Burns Red is amazing just saw them with All That Remains in SLC UT. One of the best shows ive seen.

WAR OF AGES is so freaking sick, Arise and Conquer is probably the better of the two CDs but they are still really good! Awsome band

Christian or not we all know that these guys rock. Some of the lyrics are lame but over all this is one of my favorite bands. Deception of Strongholds Kicks a**!

if you hate christian metalcore so much, i suggest you start a prog metal christian group yourself instead of pissing all over the "unorigianl" christian metalcore groups than can play guitar, drums, and sing/scream better than you will ever dream of doing.

So boring and unoriginal. It's like they just set out to sound as generic and like every other slightly-tal e n t e d metalcore band out there. Plus the whole Christian metalcore thing is getting old. I want some Christian progressive metal or something, why is it every Christian metal band is boring old metalcore?
