WBTE came up on my Buckethead station, and for a minute I thought that it was Buckethead until I actually looked at who it was.

no one can say any band is the 'best' in a genre. its down to personal taste. i will say the guitar player in We Be The Echo might be the best though - he mixes some crazy shred s**t with noise and sound effects, i really like his s**t. found them through Buckethead. Other good bands in this genre i like are Behold...The Arctopus, Tera Melos (studio rather than live) and The Aleuchistas.

whoa there johnny and jason society...me t h i n k s you should listen to a little more of the instrumental musics before you go crowning "we be" kings. im not slammin it at all, Im just sayin, its not "insane" by a long shot

check out sleeping people if you like this kinda of organized ciaos, they rule the genre, not as crazy as hella but beautiful math/rock. love this though very cool.

Awesome stuff. We Be The Echo are the most interesting and rockin' band in the instrumental genre. Their newer stuff is insane.
