Comeback Cadillac

When I first discovered Pandora, it was on my Ipod Touch right as the Kings of Leon's song "Sex on Fire" became a radio sensation. So naturally I plugged them in, with the second song on one of the best playlists I'm yet to find being The Weeks' Buttons. Five minutes later I owned it (Thanks iTunes!) Definitely one of the best young bands I've come across, and definitely worth a listen.

This song is pretty bad a** and I must admit their similar sound to KOL is what turned me to dig more into their music...So far, I like what I've heard
Change the singing style to escape from the KOL sound. Sad that their best song sounds like the real deal. Mainstream or not, you only get one life, let KOL live it, their music is original and SICK, but hey copying's cool too if you're good...
i love them man, been listening to them for almost a year now. KOL went to main stream on me unfortunatel y , :(
The Weeks' new EP Rumspringa is available today! Whoot! These guys keep getting better with every listen.
There's only one KOL, but these guys are extremely similar. They're ok. I'm still partial to KOL..
I think the throwback Southern Blues rock gives it a KOL vibe, and the vocals reinforced it. I thought it was KOL as well. Sounded pretty good though.
I thought this was KOL for a minute, too. Especially during the verses... he may be trying for that, though...
true that orangeassass i n , I thought buttons was a KOL song for weeks, no pun intended.
Are you kidding? Nothing like KOL? Buttons and Altar Girl could be new KOL songs.
I agree, they sound a lot like KOL and I love it!! I hope they release a new album. I'd like to hear more :)
KOL! The whole time I listened to one song I was thinking I was listening to KOL!
Saw them at the Neshoba County Fair for the first time last year and loved it. They're amazing. Definite similar sound to Kings of Leon. Very talented and young, huge potential.
I listened to the whole song thinking it was the Kings of Leon. Was quite suprised to find it wasn't. Great sound, even if a little contrived.
Kings of Leon for sure, maybe a little of the old school RHCP thrown in there. Can't wait to hear more!
you guys are so talented and i cant wait to see how you improve with age...althou g h you are already pretty excellent... .

Buttons is a beautiful imperfection ! I can feel this song as if im sitting in a dorm with friends jamming and everyone around comes to see the source. Excellent frosh album, looking forward to more of their diversity
I have to say I thought it sounded exactly like KOL but that's not a bad thing.
It's hard to do a search for these dudes. Anyone know their myspace / website / youtube?
