They never quite made it to America. I loved them, had to search the imports. I believe there was another band in America called Wrathchild at the time they were set to hit the US. The other band ended up being called Wrathchild America, or something like that. By the time the lawsuits cleared it was too late.
Wrathchild were there at the beginning, known to the British rock fans well before the likes of Poison and Mottley Crue picked up a stick of eye-liner. Anthemic tunes driven by the tight rhythm section of Marc Angel (bass) and Eddie Starr (drums), superb melodic guitar solos from Lance Rocket and the cheeky yet sometimes tacky vocals of the larger than life Rocky Shades were all you needed before a night out on the town.
