Biography
A French pop singer, Yelle released her first album, Pop-Up, in 2007. A bright, colorful, and sassy artist, Yelle (and producer GrandMarnier) first came to prominence after a song entitled "Short Dick Cuizi" was posted on her MySpace page. The track, a jab at TTC hip-hop crew member Cuizinier, was later altered (lyrically at least) and became Yelle's first official single in 2006, "Je Veux Te Voir." ~ Chris True, All Music Guide

i always loved her music. hehe. a lot of people here dont know about her. even though her music is kind of old i still love it! im taking french now because of her. :)

this is what got me hooked, off astralwerks label sample CD "a cause des garcons (tepr remix)" cool-no idea what she is saying, but i really don't listen to lyrics much-really the feel of spledor and the wiggle of the toes

Yelle, I think, is one of the best French singers that I ever heard just by listening "Ce Jeu". Even though that I don't speak French, and that is the only song that I know from her, but I still think that she is one of the best French singers.

Love her. Both times I've seen her in concert, she's been so awesome and sounds like she does on her album. So good.
