Haven't listened to this song in a while, but I do remember that when I played Halo 2, I would replay the part with this song just so I could hear it. It set the mood beautifully.

This song was written for the Halo 2 Soundtrack (It's the second track actually) that's why everybody associates it with Halo... The monks at the beginning of the song were ripped directly from Halo 1.
