I'm an idiot...
Now that I think about it and read some of the other posts; the opening melody in this song does sound a lot like the violin melody in the latter part of "Face On" from Wolf's Rain. I should have spotted that since I use "Face On" as my alarm clock. Anyway, good song. |

Okay, good, I'm not the only who noticed the similarity between "Shiro" (the song on the Wolf's Rain soundtrack) and this song. Well, if he can influence a composer like Yoko Kanno, he must have at *some* redeemable qualities as a composer...o k a y , maybe several, maybe a lot. Although, I'd say that "Shiro" and "Shiro, Long Tails" have a bolder sound than this song.

I was thinking the same thing about the Wolf's rain thing. It does sound a lot like Shiro. I heard it and immediately paused it and went to go play Wolf's Rain on my iTunes.

Like another poster mentioned, there is a song called Face On from Wolfs Rain OST 2 that from roughly 1:10 into the song, has a similar, also awesome, string arrangement.

Does Finding Beauty remind anyone else of a song called Shiro, Long Tails on the Wolfs Rain OST 2? I wonder if Finding Beauty influenced it. Curious.
