I love to hear covers - but not this one. Rather than interpreting the song differently, she performs a poor facsimile of Dave Matthews' version. The fact that Crash Into Me is a fairly repetitive song on paper means it really takes a great rhythm guitarist to pull it off without it sounding like a broken record. Her horrific strumming pattern made it difficult to sit through the entire song.

i actually really dislike this version of the song. the original song is really great but this is just a blatant cover rather than an 'acoustic tribute.' i feel like this musician didn't bring any originality to this piece and i don't think she quite grasps the weight of the lyrics and content. she's got an ok voice, but also obviously struggles with the lower range. just an honest critique.
