This song written in response to the ignorant and arrogant attitude the writer was getting from a Briton. His sentiment is basically that this person had already formed his own opinion of Americans and didn't care to listen to what he, as an individual American, had to say. Having lived abroad, I can totally understand this. Many people really do lump Americans together as having the same views.

Yeah not only do they have "life experience", its not "trashing their country" when the things being put forward are facts. And I heard nothing in the song that was made up trash talk. The land was stolen from Indians, there were slaves and the KKK is still around today :)

What a whiner. Americans don't have a corner on stupidity. It's funny when kids that have zero life experience to draw from try to show how smart they are by trashing their country...
